Karen Poppen’s Super Alkaline Salsa

This is a delicious and refreshing salad.

Ingredients

  • Peeled and seeded ripe avocado
  • 1 cup seeded and chopped tomatoes
  • Handful of cilantro
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon or more olive oil to taste
  • Sea salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Cut tomatoes crosswise and squeeze out seeds and juice.

Step 2

Cut tomatoes and avocado into a medium dice.

Step 3

Remove large stems from cilantro and chop.

Step 4

Add to tomato and avocado mixture.

Step 5

Season with lemon juice, olive oil, and sea salt to taste. Serve immediately.
