Protein Powder??

Post by Goodlifegurl » Jun 27th, 11:03

Just wondering - in all the literature I've been reading it states that I'd be getting my protein from the veggies & grains that I'll be eating - My question is this Can I add a protein powder (whey or soy) to my daily intake or will that throw off the acid/alkaline levels?? Thanks, Loretta

As discussed in other posts and is also becoming common knowledge in the world, soy is not good, for a number of reasons. Do search and find out the problems with soy.

Whey on the other hand, can be alkaline if it is used fresh or dried immediately into powder. It will maintain healthy intestinal flora.
