When the FDA say "safe" they really mean "safe to poison the entire planet for the sake of profits".

Keep in mind that stevia has been used for thousands of years as a food - its use being dated back to ancient times in the days when people knew what they were doing.

Using Kraft Crystal Light would be very bad as a regular water. The product has as much additive and sweetener as many sodas, and it likely has a very low pH. There might be a green powder available that you would like.

Oh I should clarify... I understood the metabolic biology explanations in that book, but what made no sense to me was how those explanations mean their diet recommendations should be followed.

It's an interesting approach. I've got kind of picky things thoughts to respond so I'll just rattle off some statements. Only a minor section of the alternative microbiology movement are made of scientists and doctors. Many people who use these boards form their own approaches from their own researc...

I don't think Gabe Mirkin has hugely gone off the track anywhere. As far as I know, most of that article is right on. One exception is what Uncle J pointed out. However, that is not surprising as the medical field approach disease via the germ theory. I would assume that Mirkin has written about cla...

That's unfortunately a really difficult question to answer because there's such a wide range of ingredients which would constitute a 'veggie burger'. If you can get a patty simply made of pureed vegetables, that is an excellent alternative. The problem is, a lot of veggie burger products are highly ...

Hmm well if you want to call it a theory. I guess the first question is, what would make a theory valid?

Every few topics on this board talks about why there are different readings for foods. For instance, weak acids, ignorance of the ash process etc.
