hi,
i am 28 years old and i have been facing many problems with my health for 7 years now, but for some reason all my blood tests are normal. Doctors tell me that all problems are "functional" and not "pathological" but i suffer quite a lot. its been 7 years that i have been taking seroxat for anxiety disorder and panic disorder. also, its the only thing that has calmed my palpitations and fast heartbeat. i have done blood and heart check-up and the doctors told me that all is fine. for a strange reason, my heartbeat goes very fast when I'm changing body position like standing up, bending down to pick something, changing position in bed at night... i don't know why this happens... however, after 7 years, seroxat isn't helping me very much... i feel very anxious and panicked most of the time. also i feel VERY VERY VERY VERY tired, especially when i wake up in the morning. Sleep makes me feel worse for some reason... i don't know why. Every time i wake up i feel like hell, totally tired and fatigued, as if I've been running in my sleep.i also have blurry vision, body and muscle pains and exhausted muscles, eye floaters, dizziness, pelvic pain, depression, anxiety, panic attacks and Prostatitis..Actually my whole body feels like it is inflamed... recently i did a test which showed that i have INCREASED cortisol levels in my blood and that cortisol levels do NOT drop throughout the day as it should (Morning Cortisol was 29 and Night cortisol was 25). Also the test showed that i have DECREASED Testosterone levels in my blood.... i did tests in my adrenal glands and they showed that they are fine.. i also did a low dose dexamethazone suppression test, because the doctor suspected that i may have Cushing's Syndrome, but the test came out ok, and the doctor told me that i do not have cushings.... but what can i do about this situation. i feel so bad and tired all the time.... i dont know what to do. Please give me your advice.
i'm looking forward to your replies. by the way, i have started the acid-alkaline program 8 days ago. |

in the 15 days that i am doing the diet i have seen a little improvement, but i can't really say if this improvement is from the diet or not. see i have asked people in this site if the diet has helped them and some say yes and others say no, so i don't really know WHAT to believe about this diet....i'm kinda confused. i will keep it up tough. feel free to read all our discussion on the above link and take part in it please all suggestions are helpful and it is through combination of thoughts that we may find solutions. |

You might want to check out drmurphree's website. He's a holistic practitioner who specializes in hard to treat problems such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and IBS aswell as anxiety, depression and sleep problems.
Hulda Clark has some great books aswell (The Cure for All Cancers & The Cure for All Disease).
I was also impressed by some of the info in John Thomas' Young Again book (although everything he recommends seems to be a 'proprietary blend' which I'm not so comfortable with, plus the writing's not so great and some of his claims are not what you could describe as scientific).
Food combining, of course, is another topic which could be helpful.
I really hope you find out what's causing your problems and how to fix them.
One website I have found interesting is shirely'swellnesscafe.

All your symptoms sound like so many other illnesses. Systemic Fungal Candida can cause and mimic all these symptoms. I suggest you don't waste any more time and go have your self checked out for systemic candida fungi. It seems to be the root of many illnesses. Unless you cure the fungi you wont cure any illness or disease.
You can google Candida spit test for a simple fast home test you can do. If it is positive then go get confirmation with a blood test IgA, IgM, IgG. Candida is behind so many chronic illnesses that everyone should go get tested for it when they have a blood test.
If you don't know much about Candida and only think it occurs Vaginally, Intestinally or Orally then you have to read up on it. Its a deadlly disease left unchecked.
Also have your adrenals checked for Adrenal fatigue. You can get a blood test for Cortisol or better yet a saliva test and they can test for the Candida too. They can also check your hormone levels of Estrogen, progesterone, testosterone and DHEA with the same saliva test. Its worth the expense to do this.
A good ALCAT test for food allergies would be helpful cause this can cause all sorts of problems as it has for me. If you have food allergies you may have Leaky Gut so your intestines doesn't absorb nutrients. But under neath it all lies the Candida at fault. _________________ good health and happiness to all. |

I have been studing a lot of the things you are going thru. I too have had my share of problems. I have a regime that has now worked for me and I feel great. I will share with you what I have learned to help.
One is water! We, all people, are pretty much dehydrated. The amount of water we should drink is 1/2 oz of water per pound of body weight in a normal illness free setting. But if you are ill you need even more, an oz of water per pound. And the water you drink is very important. Kangen water is the best. The machines are not cheap but they work, really work. If you cant afford one get the best water you can get and add to it lemon or alkaline drops. No matter what you need water, NOT coke, coke or sodas are very acidic, 2.5 of the pH scale. Coffee and tea or juice are not water even if they are made with water. Water is only water the rest are drinks that water has been transformed into and they body see that as what it is transformed to.
Second is your diet. Make sure you are eating all natural organic foods as much as possible. Do Not eat processed anything. I understand some things you eat will be somewhat processed but nothing that is been refined to the point of not recognizing it as food, ex; jellos, boxed foods etc. Opt for whole foods when ever there is an option. Eat foods fresh not cooked that way you get the living enzymes and vitamins as the food was meant to give you vitality. Experienment with fruits and veges in salads. Eat raw seeds and nuts, walnuts are good for omega 3 if you dont like fish sorces. Combine them the right way so you can actually digest them.
Exercise. That is a must at least a few min a day will help. Walking is a great way to exercise. It is aerobic and weight bearing. stretch when you are done and breathe. Learn to breath with the full lung, make your stomach come out when you inhale that way the bottom lodes of the lung fill and you get more O.
Supplements. Probiotics is a must! Make sure you get a good one that has multiple strains in the billions. For yeast use oil of oregano. I use the liquid drops only so I can use it in salads and that way my family gets it too. A multi vitamin and mineral is very important. Make sure it is a whole food vitamin not syntheticly made. The body recognizes food not chemicals. Sun you need it ...15 min a day with your body exposed. Even longer if you want just dont burn, if you use sun screen make sure it has nothing in it that will be obsorbed that is harmful. Check it at the site
http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/index.php?nothanks=1
Lastly but not last on the list, make sure you have some sort of stress relief. Get a hobby if you need to.
This is not a miracle cure these thing will take awhile to work. Un like medicines it is a slower more natural pace and when you are about 3 months into it you will notice how good you are feeling and will want to learn more.
With IBS its obvious that you are not eating right, or drinking right and have a great need to fix this since your gut is your basic immunities. This and the other problems you have tell me that you are dehydrated. Get the gut right and all will heal. |

Hi all,
my trip has been long....and very hard....i can't even begin to say
what i have been through since my last posts....
i will just keep it short....
Leslie, thanx for the tips, i have done everything you mention but it didn't help....
Alkaline diet didn't help much for 1 basic reason.
Alkalinity may be down for a reason. my reason was not the poor quality diet nor the water.
i recently did a heavy metals test and it came back positive....
so, i should have listened to one of the members in this forum, when last year in one of my other posts, she told me that i should have had my dental amalgam removed...i am now sad i didn't....but, better late than never, i guess.....(sigh)
you can alkalize all you want....if mercury is in your blood, you will NEVER get well.....
So, i am now beginning a heavy metal detox protocol, and i will let you guys know how i am doing...
if you are suffering from any kind of ailment, DO consider doing a heavy metal test.....you may be surprised of what you find.
Thank you so much for responding....

Candida is NOT always what people have come to believe it is.
Please do yourself and other a favor and read this post and the links below if you want to save time and money on your path to getting healthier. i know i wasted 1 year thinking my candida is something it is not...
don't make the same mistake guys.
Candida has many types, but it MAY also be there to PROTECT you from dying, and in persistent cases, when it doesn't go, it is usually that kind. it doesn't leave you because if it does, you will die.
take a look at the second type of candida at the links below. it is the one i have. (for example, in me it exists in order to alkalize my blood/tissues because my blood/tissues are acidic, because it turns out that i have heavy metal poisoning)
if you want candida to leave you, you must correct the reason why Candida has come to SAVE you (so in my case, if i detox from the heavy metals, Candida will simply leave, because it will no longer be needed, just as it happens with so many other people). Candida ONLY lives in an alkaline environment and so while it exists, it also ALKALIZES your blood, whilst telling you through its symptoms that, "Something is wrong with you, that's why i am here...please take action...i WILL leave as soon as you make sure you don't die".... Treating the candida as an infection in this case is like shooting yourself....why do you think virtually ALL candida protocols fail? its because the body actually NEEDS the candida's alkalization properties to stay alive!
Read these please if you want to truly know what Candida is and its types:
